I'm Ashmit Mittal, a software engineer in India. My day job is building internal products at a big tech company: Node.js and Express services, React and Next.js front ends, MySQL and Postgres underneath.
Most of that now ships through Claude Code. Living inside these tools every day is why I care about what they actually do when nobody is watching, and why I started @ashmit.codes in September 2026: one AI story per reel, face on camera, diagrams up top, sources on screen.
